The welding (output) current of the HYMIG-200 can be regulated within the range of 10-190 Ampere making the HYMIG-200 adjustable to suit welding different materials and thicknesses of steel. Beware of lower quality models by always checking the 'Duty Cycle'. Duty cycle is the amount of time, within a 10 minute period the welder can be used, on a given output. For example, our 190A welder has a duty cycle of 35% when used on 190A output (MIG), and 35% when used on 140A output (MMA/ARC). This means it can be used for three and a half minutes consistently, but then, it must be 'rested' for the remaining six and half minutes. Cheaper, lower quality welders claim to be a certain Amperage output, but can have a very low duty cycle on the output they have claimed. Always check the duty cycle to ensure you are getting the best value for money.
